COREX is revising the provisions regarding “Index Release” in the “Methodology Specifications of Iron Ore Portside Index” (hereinafter referred to as the “Methodology Specifications”). The details are as follows:

Under Section “IX. Index Release”–“(II) Release Content and Related Regulations”, the following content shall be added: “A brief explanation shall be released simultaneously to help all parties understand the basis for the compilation of the daily index, including the trading situation on COREX, etc.”

COREX has been releasing the aforementioned brief explanation on a daily basis since the launch date of the index. The addition of this statement to the Methodology Specifications shall not have any impact on the operation of the index. The revised “Methodology Specifications of Iron Ore Portside Index” shall officially take effect on 27 March, 2026.
