Measures for the Data Provision of Iron Ore Portside Index

Chapter I General Provisions

Article 1. These Measures are formulated in accordance with the “Administrative Measures for the Behavior of Important Commodity and Service Price Indices” and other relevant policies and regulations, for the purposes of regulating data collection procedures, improving the quality of data collection by Beijing Iron Ore Trading Center Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “COREX”), and ensuring that the index objectively reflects market conditions.

Chapter II Administration of Data Providers

Article 2. COREX collects data samples for index compilation from both member and non-member data providers.

Article 3. To become a member of COREX, a legal entity shall meet the membership criteria specified in the “Administrational Measures for Membership Management of Beijing Iron Ore Trading Center” and complete relevant application procedures specified in the aforementioned Measures.

Article 4. Reputable legal entities such as iron ore producers, steel mill companies and trading companies that are not yet COREX members may apply to become index data providers, pending approval from the index compilation team.

Article 5. The administration of the Expert Committee shall refer to the “Measures for the Expert Committee of Iron Ore Portside Index”.

Article 6. Attention will be paid by COREX to identify potential conflicts of interest when reviewing and verifying index data providers.

Chapter III Administration of Data Provision

Article 7. Data providers may submit information through various channels, including COREX trading system, email, instant messaging tools, telephone calls, and any other methods agreed upon by both parties.

Article 8. The types of data provided by data providers include deals, bids/offers, market survey, and deal verification materials, among others.

Article 9. Data providers are required to designate specific departments or individuals, known as data reporters, to submit data to COREX. The submission must align with the time, elements, and other requirements outlined in the “Methodology Specifications of Iron Ore Portside Index”.

Article 10. Data providers shall ensure the truthfulness, accuracy and completeness of the spot iron ore data provided. COREX may request relevant documents, such as contracts and invoices, from data providers to confirm contract performance and verify the authenticity of the transactions.

Chapter IV Administration of Data Usage

Article 11. COREX shall pay attention to the presence of related parties, conflicts of interest, and other relevant situations when utilizing data provided by data providers.

Article 12. COREX shall apply all or part of the data provided by data providers to the compilation of index in accordance with the “Methodology Specifications of Iron Ore Portside Index” and the established data quality standards.

Article 13. COREX shall properly store the data provided by data providers and ensure its security, accuracy, and integrity. The retention period will be a minimum of five years.

Chapter V Supplementary Provisions

Article 14. COREX reserves the rights to interpret and revise these Measures.

Article 15. These Measures shall enter into force as of the date of promulgation.

Article 16. Both Chinese and English versions are valid. In case of any inconsistency, the Chinese version shall prevail.

铁矿石港口现货价格指数数据提供管理办法

第一章 总则

第一条 为规范数据采集程序，提高北京铁矿石交易中心股份有限公司（以下简称“北铁中心”）数据采集质量，确保指数客观地反映市场情况，根据《重要商品和服务价格指数行为管理办法》等政策法规，特制定本办法。

第二章 数据提供方的管理

第二条 北铁中心为编制指数采集的数据样本来源于会员、非会员数据提供方。

第三条 企业法人成为北铁中心会员，应满足《北京铁矿石交易中心会员管理办法》中会员需符合的条件，按该办法规定办理相关手续。

第四条 具有良好信誉、未成为北铁中心会员的铁矿石生产商、钢铁企业、贸易企业等法人组织，经指数编制团队审议后可成为指数数据提供方。

第五条 专家委员会的管理参照《铁矿石港口现货价格指数专家委员会管理办法》。

第六条 北铁中心在审核指数数据提供方时，关注是否存在利益冲突情形。

第三章 数据提供的管理

第七条 数据提供方提供数据的渠道包括交易系统、邮件、即时通讯工具、电话等双方认可的方式。

第八条 数据提供方提供数据的类型包括成交数据、申报数据、市场调研数据、交易验证材料等。

第九条 数据提供方指定其数据报送部门或人员，按照《铁矿石港口现货价格指数编制方案》规定的时间、要素等要求，组织向北铁中心提供数据。

第十条 数据提供方应提供真实、准确、完整的铁矿石现货交易数据。北铁中心可要求数据提供方提交合同、发票等相关文件查看合同的履行情况，以验证交易的真实性。

第四章 数据使用的管理

第十一条 北铁中心在使用数据提供方提供的数据时，关注是否存在关联方、利益冲突等情形。

第十二条 北铁中心根据《铁矿石港口现货价格指数编制方案》及数据质量情况，使用全部或部分数据提供方提供的数据编制指数。

第十三条 北铁中心妥善保管数据提供方提供的数据，确保数据的安全性、准确性和完整性，保存期限至少五年。

第五章 附则

第十四条 本办法由北铁中心负责解释和修订。

第十五条 本办法自发布之日起实施。
